One of the most famous attractions in Castelo Branco is the Garden of the Episcopal Palace, one of the most beautiful Baroque gardens in Portugal. It features terraced gardens, meticulously trimmed trees and shrubs, exquisite flower beds, lively fountains, and a series of luxurious Baroque sculptures including archangels, apostles, evangelists, characters from fables, and statues of Portuguese kings.
